Active Parenting NOW is a 3-part video-based parent education program for parents with children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The series features Tim Jahn, M.ED of the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Family Health & Wellness Program.

The 3-part parent education series with attendance suggested on all three dates: Thursdays: November 16 and 30 and December 14 will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at Manhasset Public Library.

The series will address how to improve communication with our children; teach responsibility and other important values; handle problems as they come up; cope with difficult topics such as drugs, bullying and sex; defuse power struggles with our children; stimulate independence as your child grows older and encourage our children to be their best!
