The Awareness Day 2018 national event in Washington, DC, will feature an interactive town hall discussion on strategies for making child-serving systems more trauma-informed.

The discussion will feature governors’ spouses, senior federal officials, and youth and family leaders as well as executives from the nation’s leading organizations for professionals in the fields of primary care, behavioral health, and child welfare. The in-person and live webcast audience members will have the opportunity to join the conversation by asking questions of the speakers. The conversation will be moderated by NBC4 Washington anchor Aaron Gilchrist.
