DESCRIPTION:Vaping\, JUUL and E-cigarettes:  A Public Health Crisis \nLearn the myths and facts associated with vaping and e-cigarettes. \nPresented by Dr. David Fagan\, Vice-Chairman for Pediatric Ambulatory Administration at Cohen Children’s Medical Center-Northwell Health\, overseeing Northwell’s network of 18 community based pediatric primary care practices.  Prior to joining Northwell\, Dr. Fagan was the Chairman and Program Director of the Department of Pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Fagan is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics and does advocacy work around vaping as well as bullying prevention. \n“We have an obligation to act on what we know. And what we know is very disturbing. Kids use of e-cigarettes has reached an epidemic level of growth.”1 \n1 FDA statement in response to federal data about electronic cigarettes.
